SAA Generalversammlung in Wien

SAA Council of General Policy meeting 2023 hosted by VdFS

Following a new tradition, the annual meetings of the SAA - Society of Audiovisual Authors (https://www.saa-authors.eu) will be hosted each year by one of its members.

At the end of November 2023, VdFS, as a long-standing member of the SAA Board of Directors, invited to Vienna.

In addition to Barbara Hayes, Chair of the SAA Board, Patrick Raude, Vice Chair and Managing Director Cècile Despringre, over 30 collecting societies of audiovisual authors from all over Europe took part to discuss and debate current and important topics such as artificial intelligence (AI).

The evening before the meeting, VdFS hosted a reception, which was attended by SAA members as well as the SAA patrons from Austria.
